Meghan Markle: Prince Harry urges her not to wear THIS – ‘start dressing like a Royal’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will soon embark on a tour of Australia as part of their official royal duties.

The Duchess of Sussex is known for her stylish outfit choices, including mannish suits and crisp tailoring.

She recently wore a black suit for her visit to Dublin with Prince Harry, paired with black stilettos.

She also wore a two piece black tuxedo style suit to the Endeavour Fund Awards in February.

However, Harry is said to have put his foot down on such sartorial choices for their visit to Australia.

Meghan has been told by her husband that her go-to suits are not “traditional enough” for the tour.

“Meghan wanted to wear a tuxedo-style suit but Harry said it wasn’t traditional enough,” a fashion source who has recently visited Kensington Palace told The Mail on Sunday.

The LA born former actress had a 16 year long acting career before she became a royal.

Having spent a lot of time at star-studded Hollywood events, Meghan already had her own established sense of style when she married Harry.

Her now deleted Instagram account, where she showcased a lot of her fashion choices, had 1.7 million followers.

However, she had been instructed to “start dressing like a Royal” now, according to the source.

“Meghan is being told she needs to stop dressing like a Hollywood star and start dressing like a Royal.”

Meghan has already been seen to take some style lessons from Kate Middleton, 36.

As the wife of Prince William, 36, who is second-in-line to the British throne, Kate is often upheld as a paragon of royal style.

From her nude nails to her sleek, wavy blow dry, Meghan paid homage to Kate’s style cues throughout the years.

Meghan has also began carrying clutch style bags, just like Kate, on royal engagements.

This is apparently to avoid shaking hands with people when necessary.

Meghan has also began wearing clear tights, for instance during her engagement in Cheshire with the Queen.

It is believed the Queen considers tights essential for royal women, and Kate is unfailingly seen wearing them when her legs are on show.

Finally, there is said to be a single shade of nail polish the Queen approves of: Ballet Slippers by Essie. Her Majesty has worn this colour since 1989, and both Meghan and Kate have been pictured looking a very similar looking shade.
