F1 German GP live stream – How to watch Formula One Grand Prix 2018 from Hockenheim

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel could extend his lead in the championship today if he can turn pole position into a victory.

The German dominated qualifying and his day got even better when Lewis Hamilton, his closest title rival, suffered a hydraulic failure.

This means Hamilton lines up 14th on the grid on a tough track to pass.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live Hamilton said: “It definitely was a tough one. These things happen and all you can do is try to gather your thoughts and put whatever energy you have towards trying to do your best next day.

“I’ll give everything to see how high I can get up but it’s not going to be like Silverstone.”

Meanwhile, Vettel was enjoying being home soil and looks favourite to win today’s Grand Prix.

“Thanks to the fans. It was amazing to see so many Ferrari and German flags,” he said.

“It just kept getting better and I knew for the last lap I had a little bit more in more. I’m full of adrenaline but so happy.”
