Fallout 76: This will make the release date and beta wait easier for Fallout fans

was announced to much fanfare in the lead up to E3 2018, with the upcoming online multiplayer RPG set for a 14 November 2018 release date.

Bethesda will be holding a Fallout 76 beta before the game’s release date, with the beta set to arrive on Xbox One ahead of the PS4.

No launch date has been revealed for the Fallout 76 beta yet, but it looks set to bring in huge player numbers when it goes live.

If you can’t wait for Fallout 76 then there may be something launching soon that will tide you over until the beta goes live.

A new fan-made DLC for Fallout 4 which has been almost two years in the making is set to be released later this month.

The Northern Springs DLC is said to be bigger than both the official Nuka World and Far Harbor expansions from Bethesda.

It will be located towards the top left of the Fallout 4 map and can even be explored if you do not take on the main quest associated with it.

Techspot reported that Northern Springs will add more than 25 quests as well as four voiced followers.

It will also include two player homes, new weapons and armour, new enemies and four new jobs.

In a post online detailing the expansion, its creator jsharpnelc said: “Everything has been meticulously place (sic).

“An unimaginable amount of time and work has been put into this mod.

“Lots of playtesting went on, so I hope all the quests work.

“The mod was worked on nearly every single day for almost two years. And will continue to be worked on as time goes on.”

He added: “Northern Springs is a massive DLC which adds a whole new location larger than both Nuka World and Far Harbor.

“An enormous land to explore with new quests, new weapons, new armor, settlements and much more to find.”

For anyone thinking of trying out Northern Springs, they need to be aware if isn’t for the faint of heart.

It’s recommended that a character level of 40 plus is required to get through the challenges in store in the new Fallout 4 area.
