Chelsea transfer plans dealt major blow as Real Madrid plot Hazard and Lewandowski raids

The Spanish giants not only want to sign Chelsea’s £200 million Belgian World Cup superstar Eden Hazard – but have targeted Bayern Munich’s Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, who is also on the London club’s radar this summer.

Rea, who have seen Cristiano Ronaldo switch to Juventus this week, are desperate to bring in star names to replace him – and Hazard, who Chelsea are determined not to sell but who has yet to sign a new deal and has once again hinted that this could be the time to leave, is top of their list.

Lewandowski, wanted by both Manchester United and Chelsea, has said that he is likely to stay in Germany, but Real are expected to test that resolve with a massive bid.

Juventus have indicated they are willing to swap their Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain for unhappy Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, but it is understood Lewandowski was the No.1 pick for Sarri.

Lewandowski had a poor World Cup for Poland, but has hit 180 goals in 157 games for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern.

Meanwhile, Sarri has viewed to bring the fun back to Chelsea’s football this season, after the arguments and controversy of Antonio Conte last few months in charge.

The Italian, who took his first training session with his squad yesterday, said: “With one or two adjustments we can try to play my football. First of all I want to enjoy myself, the players have to enjoy themselves, and I hope that the fans can enjoy the team.

“I want to be proud of the team. I want to enjoy myself and also to win something.

“There will be 100% hard work, and 90% fun. I will give all my possessions to win something with Chelsea.”
