WWE Extreme Rules: Randy Orton returns and launches SHOCK attack on Jeff Hardy

Orton underwent successful surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee in May shortly after failing to beat Jeff Hardy for the US Championship at Backlash.

The Viper though made a big comeback at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after Shinsuke Nakamura beat Hardy for the United States title.

Nakamura made quick work of The Charismatic Enigma as he hit him with one of his signature Low Blows right before the bell rang and the referee wasn’t watching.

Hardy decided to compete despite his injuries and then The Artist hit him with a vicious Kinshasa immediately after the bell.

The King of Strong Style won his first ever major title at the WWE main roster after winning the Royal Rumble Match last January.

Nakamura’s celebrations, though, didn’t last long as Orton made his return and the Japanese star left the ring and watched from the announce desk.

The 13-time world champion then turned his attention to Hardy and hit him with yet another Low Blow as Nakamura watched in shock.

Orton is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling and made a name for himself in the early 2000s as part of Evolution alongside Triple H, Ric Flair and Batista.

The former WWE Champion has beaten some of the biggest names in wrestling like John Cena, Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles.
