The Surface Go is being labelled as the cheapest way to enter Microsoft’s tablet lineup – the hardware will be available on August 23.
Surface Go has a built-in kickstand, a 10-inch PixelSense screen and can run Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Home in S mode.
The PixelSense display’s resolution is 1800 x 1200 and sits at a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Until then the tablet is available to preorder on the Microsoft Store.
The baseline model of the tablet, that comes rocking 64GB of internal storage and is powered by a 7th Generation Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y, comes in at £379.99.
The tablet also features 4GB of RAM.
But users have the option to upgrade to a supercharged model of the tablet for £509.99.
This variant comes with 128GB of internal storage, features the same processor but doubles the RAM, bringing 8GB to the table.
Microsoft is offering accessories galore with the new Surface Go too.
The company is offering a new Surface Mobile Mouse that is also up for preorder and comes in at £29.99.
Microsoft is offering the accessory in burgundy, platinum and cobalt blue colours.
But if users want greater levels of precision and customisation, they can opt for the Surface Precision Mouse that is supported by the new tablet.
The accessory has three buttons on the side that can be mapped to specific functions, giving users a greater deal of flexibility.
The Surface Precision Mouse is available to buy right now from Microsoft’s store and costs £99.99.
The Surface Pen is also supported by the Surface Go, meaning users can effortlessly scribble down notes or sketch away.
The device is sold on the Microsoft Store for £99.99 and comes in burgundy, black, platinum, cobalt blue and aqua colours.
A type cover has been made especially for the Surface Go, giving users access to a keyboard in addition to protection for the front of the budget tablet.
The Surface Go Type Cover is also available for preorder on the Microsoft Store and comes in at £99.99 for the black version while the platinum, cobalt blue or burgundy options made from Alcantara are priced at £124.99.
