Chelsea beat Rosengard 4-0 on aggregate to make it this far, but Montpellier are far stronger and edged Brescia 9-2 over two legs in the last-16.
The Blues are also without the injured Anita Asante, Deanna Cooper and Karen Carney for the clash.
Man City Women, meanwhile, host Linkopings in what should be a far more straightforward encounter.
City beat Lillestrom 7-1 on aggregate in the previous round, while Linkopings laboured past Sparta Prague.
