BREAKING: Austin bombing ‘BREAKTHROUGH’ as FBI may have ‘captured suspect on video’

The chairman of the US House Homeland Security committee stated that the footage “could possibly” show the suspect.

Earlier today Texas was hit by the fifth explosion in a matter of days following the destruction of a package bomb at a FedEx centre in San Antonio.

One person was injured in the explosion as the FBI desperately searched for any leads to track the suspect understood to have conducted a string of attacks.

An official from the Bureau stated that it was “more than possible” that the explosion on Tuesday was linked with other Austin bombings.

Those involved in the investigation are understood to still be examining security footage from the area.

Michael McCaul, a US representative, sent a stark warning to the bomber by declaring that their “biggest mistake was going through FedEx”.

The delivery company has given “extensive evidence” to authorities following the incident.

It added that the evidence “related to these packages and the individual that shipped them collected from our advanced technology security systems”.
