Hector Bellerin to Manchester United: Arsenal could be turned by £50m offer

Bellerin has played in all but two of the Gunners’ Premier League fixtures this term on the way to making 36 appearances in all competitions.

But his position at the Emirates has come into question.

The Spaniard’s performances have dipped and his relationship with supporters has deteriorated, leading to questions over his future.

Bellerin has previously been linked with Barcelona and Manchester City as they looked to bolster their respective defences.

The latest reports suggest Arsenal could end up doing business with Manchester United once again though as Mourinho plans for Antonio Valencia’s eventual departure.

The London Evening Standard claim United are keeping tabs on Bellerin with 33-year-old right-back Valencia approaching the end of his career.

And that comes after they had initially shown interest in the Barcelona youth product two years ago.

Arsenal would be reluctant to sell Bellerin to United having previously lost Robin van Persie and Alexis Sanchez to their old rivals.

And they are under no pressure to let the 23-year-old go as he is under contract for until 2023.

However, the report indicates they could sanction a deal if they receive an offer of at least £50m.

United have cash set aside for another summer of spending as they look to close the gap on Premier League champions-in-waiting City.

And Arsenal would be able to use the money brought in by selling Bellerin to help overhaul their own underperforming squad.

Juventus are also said to have the Spain international on their radar, with Arsenal apparently more inclined to sell him to a foreign club.

And the Serie A giants could battle it out with United if Bellerin or Arsenal give them any encouragement.
