WATCH: Shock moment Porsche SMASHES into petrol station as pedestrians run for their lives

The Porcshe Panamera was reportedly racing a BMW driver through the streets of the city of Almaty in south-eastern Kazakhstan.

CCTV footage shows the driver lose control and go into a spin before smashing into a fuel pump at a Sino Oil petrol station.

Pedestrians walking along the footpath – just inches away – can be seen running in all directions to avoid the car.

One man runs behind the fuel pump and only just makes it to safety before the spectacular high speed crash.

Some eyewitnesses claimed the 70,000 GBP Porsche car had summer tyres fitted – and blamed that as the cause of the accident.

There is no information on whether the Porsche driver was badly injured or on whether police are investigating.

However, the footage of the accident is proving popular with viewers after it was posted on video-sharing platforms.

Internet user ‘Alik’ commented: “This guy was showing off too much, here is the end to it. Good job.

“This is the law of natural selection in action.”

Another online commentator, going under the name of ‘771’, said: “The good thing is that nobody, except for these idiots, got injured.”

While ‘Aidzhan’ ironically commented: “Most definitely did these people have to stage a race on a slippery road after a snow fall.

“And of course they had to try to make a gas station explode, so this snow would melt.”
