Roger Federer is the firm favourite to beat Jeremy Chardy after cruising through his first two matches.
Federer has already beaten Federico Delbonis and Filip Krajinovic so far this week.
And a match with Chardy should, on paper, be no problem for the Swiss master.
Federer needs to reach the semi-finals of Indian Wells to protect his world No 1 status from Rafael Nadal.

Yet Chardy has, unlike many other players, pushed Federer to three sets during these matches.
