Peshawar could still finish second in the table if they win both of their remaining games and other results go their way.
To make the end-of-season playoffs, Peshawar must finish in at least the top four.
Karachi are currently third in the table and also have two fixtures remaining.
They face table-toppers Islamabad United tomorrow but a win in either game would be enough to ensure a top-four finish.
