Windows 10 Spring Creators Update release date CONFIRMED

Microsoft has confirmed its Spring Creators Update will launch in April.

The Redmond-based technology company has yet to confirm the official name, which is codenamed Redstone 4 inside the company.

However, repots suggest it will be branded Spring Creators Update when it launches.

The release date for so-called Spring Creators Update was revealed in a new blog post, which provided an overview of Microsoft’s plans with Windows 10.

In the post, confirms it will support its Windows 10 operating system until October 2019.

Referring to Windows 10 Redstone 4, it has included the launch date of April 2018

The US technology firm will purportedly finalise Windows 10 Spring Creators Update by the end of next week, with the company tipped to ship it to consumers a few weeks later.

The next update is expected to have a number of new features, including the long-delayed Timeline, HDR support, and improved DPI support.

Spring Creators Update will also debut the new user interface design, Fluent Design.

The new design is more modern and fluid, using semis-transparency to add layers to the user interface.

Elsewhere, Microsoft Edge is widely-tipped to gain more touchpad gestures, design improvements and improved support for eBooks.
