FORTNITE – WHEN IS THE FORTNITE V3.3 RELEASE DATE? WHAT WILL BE THE START TIME? WILL THERE BY ANY SERVER DOWNTIME?

The Fortnite V3.3 release date was originally meant to be Wednesday March 14.

However, Epic Games had to delay the launch due to an “issue” that popped up.

So far, a confirmed release date and start time for the Fortnite update has not been revealed by Epic Games.

But big Fortnite patches to tend to drop on Thursdays, so there is a chance the update could land tomorrow – if the “issue” gets sorted by then.

In terms of a start time, Fortnite servers tend to go down around 9am GMT for and fans ahead of big patches being released.

With the main Fortnite updates, server downtime is invariably required to lay the groundwork for the patch’s release.

So, while no Fortnite downtime has been announced yet by Epic Games, fans should prepare themselves for some time offline ahead of the V3.3 release.

Fortnite server downtime, ahead of a patch launching, tends to last for around two to three hours.

Servers are usually back online by midday in the UK on the day of a Fortnite patch release.

Last Friday, Fortnite systems designer Eric Williamson gave fans an insight into how the llama loot will work in a dev update video.

At the time, the Fortnite bigwig said: “Next week’s update will have – llamas.

“These are randomly found around the island and will help you out in a pinch.

“They’re interacted with like treasure chests and ammo cans so let us know what you find.”

In the Fortnite video, Williamson also explained why the jetpack item for Battle Royale had recently been delayed.

He said: “As you guys know we recently announced the jetpack item.

“In our internal playtest we identified some issues with it and we wanted to make sure those were all sorted out before we release it.”

Williamson then teased: “And, in the meantime, we’ll have some new things coming soon.”

Fortnite fans can also expect the weekly challenges to be updated on Thursday.
