FortCraft downloads for beta sign up available now ahead of Fortnite Mobile iOS release

While you might know about the release of the Fortnite Mobile iOS downloads rolling out this week, you may have missed the news about its new competitor.

FortCraft downloads have already begun, with beta sign ups now available.

Mobile developer NetEase announced their own game pretty soon after Epic Games and look set to try and beat Fortnite Mobile to the punch.

Unlike Fortnite Mobile, FortCraft beta testing is already taking place on iOS and Android.

And as you may already know, Epic Games are only releasing Fortnite Mobile on iOS this month.

The rollout will be gradual, so invites and downloads will likely take some time to reach everyone.

There’s also the fact that Fortnite on Android won’t be available for a few months, meaning FortCraft will have the market to itself.

It should also be noted that FortCraft will be available on more devices than Fortnite Mobile.

FortCraft requires iOS 9.0 or later and will be compatible on iPhone 6 or later/ iPad mini 4 or later/ iPad Air 2 or later/ iPod 6 or later.

For Android, FortCraft will need Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or later/ Snapdragon 810 or later/ Samsung Exynos 7420 or later/ Huawei Kirin 930 or later/ Huawei Kirin 650 or later/ MediaTek Helio X25 or later.

NetEase have confirmed that the iOS beta is now filled up, however, players on Android can still download from the Google Play Store and join in.

The FortCraft beta comes with these notes:

  • Data from the beta test will NOT carry over to the full game.
  • Game content is subject to change during and after the beta test.
  • Emergency maintenance and/or app updates may occur during the beta test.

A gallery of what FortCraft is going to be like can be found at the top of this article, with the official guide on how to join the current beta, available below.
