WWE RAW: Braun Strowman set for blockbuster WrestleMania title match

Strowman won an over-the-top-rope battle royal that would determine the No1 Contenders for the red brand’s titles ahead of WrestleMania.

Even though this was a tag team match, The Monster Among Men competed on his own and outlasted some of the best duos in wrestling today.

The 6 ft 8 in, 385 lb superstar beat Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, The Revival, Titus Worldwide, Rhyno and Heath Slater and The Miztourage.

He is now set to compete at Mania against the Bar but it is not yet clear if he will challenge for the titles on his own or whether he will team up with someone else.

Strowman’s WrestleMania plans have been unknown for the past few weeks as many scenarios circulated around the web.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter claimed there was a chance he would not even wrestle at the Show of Shows.

Reports suggested he would compete in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Intercontinental title against Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and champion The Miz.

There were also rumours supporting that he would win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Sheamus and Cesaro have beaten every tag team on RAW and put out an open challenge on Twitter for any duo to step up ahead of WrestleMania.

Many famous tag teams, such as The Young Bucks, responded and hinted at some huge dream matches.

But it seems like they will be putting the belts on the line in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match instead.
