The date every Apple iPhone, iPad and Mac owner MUST put in their diary

Apple fans need to put Monday June 4th 2018 in their diaries.

That’s the date the US technology firm will announce the latest updates coming to the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.

takes place every year and is where the famous company reveals plans for its next generation of software updates.

This major event is likely to feature new versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS with all of Apple’s most popular devices likely to see new features and bonus extras added.

Along with new software, Apple has used previous WWDC conferences to launch new hardware with 2017’s event showing off the HomePod speaker and new Macs plus an upated iPad Pro.

This year could be the same with plenty of rumours suggesting a new budget laptop is on its way.

This new MacBook is thought to have an entry-level price tag and will replace the ageing MacBook Air in the company’s notebook line-up.

Along with this new Mac it’s also thought an update to the company’s popular iPhone SE could be shown to the world in June and new iPad Pros may also make an appearance.

Another rumour has suggested that a smaller HomePod could be in development which may also be cheaper than the original.

In a message on their website Apple announced: “Apple today announced it will host its 29th annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose from June 4 through June 8.

“The McEnery Convention Center will be home to the world’s most creative developer community, who come together every year to share unique perspectives and learn about the future of Apple’s breakthrough products and services.”
