Roger Federer bamboozles Indian Wells ball boys with remarkable skill – video

The Swiss legend paints brushstrokes on the court with his artistry.

His nimble footwork and blistering forehand are something to be admired too.

After a perfect start to the season which sees him holding a 14-0 record, crowds all over the world may have seen everything before.

But it was the ballboys that were left slightly confused in his match against Filip Krajinovic.

Federer bamboozled the ballboys during his straight sets win over the Serbian with one of his famous backhands.

After Krajinovic returned Federer’s serve which was called long, the 36-year-old played a sliced backhand.

Instead of just looping it into one of the ballboys’ hands, Federer imparted some spin which brought it back onto his side of the net.

Tennis TV posted the video on Twitter, to which Federer joking replied: “Gotta stay on your toes!”

Federer, who will now face Jeremy Chardy in the fourth round, is aiming to win his sixth Indian Wells Masters title.

He will also be looking to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’ for the fourth time in his career when the Miami Open gets underway next week.
