Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil celebrates Premier League record in RIDICULOUS style

The Gunners superstar became the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 50 assists during their 3-0 win against Watford.

Ozil found Shkodran Mustafi’s head with his first-half free-kick as Arsenal found an early lead in their clash against the Hornets.

It took Ozil just 141 games in the English top flight to reach half a century and to mark his impressive achievement, Arsenal released a funny training ground video to show just how good he is at assisting.

The Gunners tweeted the video with the message: “Be it on the pitch or at the training ground, @MesutOzil 1088 just loves to assist.”

And the short clip shows Ozil giving a helping hand to those around the Arsenal London Colney training ground.

From helping to answer phones to assisting the kit man in the bootroom, Ozil was there doing his bit.

He even took the time to help the groundsman do up a rather problematic jacket zip, showing Ozil really can provide on and off the field.

Ozil’s impressive record saw him surpass Premier League and Manchester United icon Eric Cantona as the quickest to reach 50 assists.

It took Cantona 143 games for Leeds and the Red Devils to reach that total compared to Ozil’s 141.

And staggeringly, Ozil’s assist against Watford was his third of the week, having provided for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aaron Ramsey in their Europa League win over AC Milan on Thursday.
