Zelda Breath of the Wild news: Link’s adventure continues on Nintendo Switch

Zelda Breath of the Wild has proved popular with fans on Nintendo Switch.

Having won some major awards and proved a massive driver of early sales, Nintendo also decided to launch new DLC content.

And while the Japanese games giant look set to close the chapter on their latest big gaming hit, Link is set to appear in another new title.

It has now been confirmed that Super Smash Bros will be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2018.

Not only that, but the Link from BOTW will also feature as part of the roster. Not much is known about the new project, with just a short teaser shown to fans.

During it, we could clearly see the BOTW version of Link as one of the main fighters, alongside Mario and the Splatoon Inklings.

Nintendo have yet to confirm if it is a new game or another Wii U port.

However, it seems likely that this will be a new instalment in the franchise, meaning the Link character could have some new moves to show off.

Another game is also launching soon that will contain special items from Zelda Breath of the Wild.

While Link himself won’t be available in Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud, the new Nintendo Switch game will feature some notable inclusions from the game.

So far we know that Link’s standard clothing from Breath of the Wild will be available, along with the Hylian Shield and Master Sword.

More is likely to be announced ahead of release, which unfortunately is only currently planned in Japan.

It was also recently confirmed that a new a limited edition OST collection is being released to celebrate the first year of Zelda Breath of the Wild’s launch.

This will arrive in April, and will feature all 211 original songs from the game.

It should be noted, however, that this collection has so far only been announced for Japan.

Nothing has appeared on the UK Nintendo website, so it’s unclear if fans here will get the chance to grab the new Zelda Breath of the Wild release.

This new music collection includes all the songs found in the game, even the ones featured in the recently released DLC.

The Limited Edition bundles will have all the music split across five CDs, and will also include a Play Button music player that will have 15 field tracks from The Legend of Zelda series.

Like the NES And SNES Mini, new tracks can’t be added to the player, with all the songs coming pre-loaded.
