Scott and Sid film review: A small scale but very likeable flick

The idea that they might one day make a film was ridiculous.

Now they play a version of themselves in the amiable, polished Scott And Sid.

“Why can’t I be great?” demands Scott (Mason) when a schoolteacher suggests that he might want to consider employment in a supermarket.

Befriending the shy, lonely Sid (Blyth) is the start of a beautiful friendship that inspires both of them to push themselves to the limit in a very likeable film.
