Kate Middleton and Prince William will soon have a new member of their family.
News of the third royal baby broke in September last year, and since Britons have been looking forward to more baby news.
The pregnant Duchess has been keeping up with her work commitments, making many public appearances this month.
However, in her seventh month of pregnancy, Britons are starting to speculate about when the baby will be born.
Bookmaker Coral is offering odds of 8-1 on Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third baby being born on the same day as the couple’s seventh wedding anniversary, the 29th of April.
“With Kate’s due date just days before their anniversary there’s a real chance that the couple could be blessed with the dream present on the day in the shape of their third child,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
As excitement builds over the third Royal baby, Coral are also offering 4-1 that the baby is born on St George’ Day (April 23rd), Kate’s actual due date, whilst it’s 16-1 to arrive on Grand National Day (April 14th) the week before.
Meanwhile Mary remains the 4-1 favourite for the name of the child, with punters having been steadily backing it over the last few weeks.
Is the Duchess of Cambridge having twins?
Although it has been a persistent rumour, there is no evidence that Kate is expecting twins.
Prince William hinted that he would be overwhelmed by an arrival of two babies.
At the 2018 Centrepoint awards, he said: “Twins? I think my mental health would be tested with twins.
“Two is fine, I don’t know how I’m going to cope with three, I’m going to be permanently tired.”
