Bill Begley, a spokesman with the Houston Airports System, stated that a TSA dog sat next to a bag that was unattended.
The suspicious bag forced a mass evacuation of the terminal.
Users flocked to Twitter to express their concern for the situation.
One user posted: “Terminal C completely shut down by Houston Police Department with machine guns.
“Anyone know what’s going on?”
Another wrote: “Terminal C shut down with security issue?
“Need some answers please.”
