Anthony Joshua set for another huge fight this year as Joseph Parker makes big claim

That’s according to the New Zealander who claims there will be a rematch after he fights Joshua in Cardiff later this month.

The pair will go head to head at the Principality Stadium on March 31.

Parker plans to win that bout with the rest of his schedule for 2018 hinging on that result.

“I think my plans for the year are I fight Joshua and I beat him and then a rematch so that’s my plans for the year,” Parker told New Zealand radio station The Rock.

Parker brings his WBO heavyweight belt to Wales with Joshua putting his WBA and IBF titles on the line.

The Englishman is favourite with the bookies having most recently beaten Carlos Takam in ten rounds in October.

AJ has won all 20 of his professional bouts, since going pro in 2013, and has won every one by knockout.

He became world champion in just his 16th fight when he knocked out Charles Martin in just the second round in April 2016.

Parker is also undefeated, and he’s won on UK shores too.

The 26-year-old has fought the majority of his career in New Zealand but beat Hughie Fury by majority decision in Manchester in September.

And the WBO belt holder will be ready to go again in Cardiff.

Parker added: “Camp is going fantastic. I feel like I’m in great shape.

“I feel like I’m punching sharp, I’m moving well, making a lot of angles, movements, fitness is good, so everything is on track.”
