Fortnite COUNTDOWN – Teams of 20 release date, start time, PS4 and Xbox One server status

players will soon be able to jump into a new LTM, with Epic Games today revealing the Teams of 20 mode for .

The upcoming Fortnite mode will see five teams of 20 battle it out for Victory Royale in the completely free Battle Royale mode.

The official Fortnite Twitter account revealed the upcoming LTM today, and announced the release date for the update will be tomorrow.

They tweeted: “Bigger teams, bigger battles! Five teams of 20 fight for Victory Royale, coming tomorrow.”

A short teaser trailer was also revealed showcasing what Fortnite fans have in store.

The description for the Teams of 20 trailer said: “Bigger teams, bigger battles! Five teams of 20 fight for Victory Royale.

“Play Fortnite Battle Royale, the completely free 100-player PvP mode. One giant map, a Battle Bus, Last one standing wins.”

While the release date for the Fortnite update has been confirmed as tomorrow, a start time has not been revealed.

Neither have Epic Games revealed whether there will be any server downtime before the the update gets rolled out.

However, if previous updates are anything to go by, you can expect Fortnite servers to go down around 9am GMT before the patch is launched.

With recent Fortnite updates, such as the launch, servers went down for around two or three hours before the patch was released.
