Luis Suarez warns Barcelona over huge Liverpool transfer plans – reports in Spain

Suarez and Rakitic have been team-mates at the Nou Camp since 2014, during which they’ve won nine trophies together.

And their performances under Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde have set them apart as top talents in their respective positions.

While Suarez’s starting spot at Barcelona is unlikely to be threatened by new arrivals, Rakitic apparently has fears for his own role at the club.

The latest reports from Spain suggest Rakitic will be offered a route out of Barcelona this summer by Liverpool boss Klopp.

According to Don Balon, Suarez is in the loop with regards to potential transfers at Barcelona.

And he’s learned Rakitic’s performances have led to him being eyed up by Klopp.

The Liverpool boss is said to be one of a number of managers who have contacted Barcelona about the Croatian midfielder.

And he’s supposedly willing to pay big to lure the 29-year-old away from the Nou Camp.

Don Balon indicate Rakitic is mulling over a potential move amid speculation Barcelona are set to sign Gremio star Arthur and Antoine Griezmann.

And the fact he could see himself marginalised under Valverde means he might jump ship for Liverpool.

Rakitic is thought to have been tempted by the idea of a Premier League switch throughout his career.

And Suarez is said to have issued a warning to Barcelona as Liverpool boss Klopp targets his team-mate.
