PlayStation Plus free games on PS4 UPDATE: Last chance before PS Plus March release

Fans have just a little time left to grab the current free games available through having an active PS Plus account.

The PlayStation Plus subscription is getting a big update this week, which is sure to please fans.

And it means that there is less than a day left to download any free PS4 games you haven’t already added to your digital collection.

For those who aren’t interested in actually downloading these new titles, Sony does allow you to simply add them to your library.

They can then be downloaded whenever you want them playable on your PS4, PS3 or PS Vita console.

As mentioned above, the current crop of PlayStation Plus February 2018 games are set to be replaced tomorrow, March 6.

After that, all the titles listed below will return to their original price in the PlayStation Store.

  • Knack (PS4)
  • RiME (PS4)
  • StarBlood Arena (PS Plus bonus – PS VR required)
  • Spelunker HD (PS3)
  • Mugen Souls Z (PS3)
  • Exiles End (PS Vita)
  • Grand Kingdom (PS Vita & PS4)

There’s also another PS Plus freebie available, although that one will not expire on March 6 with the rest.

Gems of War fans can get their hands on the new PlayStation Plus Starter Pack through till March 13th.

“The pack includes the Nobend Brothers troop, capable of causing all kinds of trouble on the gem board without even losing a turn,” a message from Sony explains.

“It also comes with 10 rare gem keys and 2,500 souls to level up all your new troops.”

While there are some neat titles included in the current free PS4 games list, the PS Plus March 2018 games revealed by Sony really might be the best yet.

The PS4 games roster includes Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank, while Mighty No. 9 and Legend of Kay Anniversary are available for PS3.

The PlayStation Vita, meanwhile, will get Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters.

Thanks to Cross-platform play, Mighty No. 9, Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters will all be available on PS4.

The PS Plus refresh usually occurs on the PlayStation Store quite late, so fans will still have a fair few hours to download what they want.

Subscribers in the UK should expect the new games to go live in the early evening of March 6.

It should be noted that the content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber.

The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Anything you have purchased (even if you purchased it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.
