PS Plus March 2018 free games COUNTDOWN: Ratchet & Clank and Bloodborne release news

For those who don’t know, a new PlayStation Plus collection of games will be arriving on the PS4 game store very soon.

The February lineup of titles – Knack and RiME – will be replaced this week with the likes of Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank.

Unlike Xbox’s Games with Gold, both exclusive PS4 games will be going live at the same time, with no waiting required for a monthly refresh.

You will need to keep your PlayStation Plus account active for as long as you want access to both games, although that would still give you a full month to try them out.

So when will Bloodborne become downloadable as part of PS Plus March 2018 collection?

Sony have confirmed that all their PlayStation Plus games will be going live on Tuesday, March 6.

Timing wise, you can expect them to replace the current roster of games between 2-4pm in the UK.

For those who don’t know much about Bloodborne, here’s more from Sony, who write: “A grisly evolution of From Software’s genre-defining ‘Souls’ series, Bloodborne places you into the shoes of an unknown outsider who arrives in the accursed town of Yharnam searching for a special form of healing.

“Brutal, blood-soaked and at times truly horrifying, Bloodborne is a one of kind experience driven by slick combat, rich lore and breathtaking art direction.

“If you’ve never dared set foot into this macabre nightmare before, then you’re in for one hell of ride – it’s time to get a little Yharnam blood of your own.”

The full PlayStation Plus lineup for March 2018 includes these games:

  • Bloodborne (PS4)
  • Ratchet and Clank (PS4)
  • Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3)
  • Mighty No. 9 (PS3 and PS4)
  • Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita and PS4)
  • Bombing Busters (PS Vita and PS4)

Arguably responsible for the re-emergence of platforming classics like Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank gets Sony off to a strong start with a Metascore of 85%.

Bloodborne, meanwhile, has a staggering 92% Metascore based on 100 reviews.

From Software’s masterpiece will push your gaming skills to the absolute limit, but persevere and there are few games that can match the sense of triumph, tension and satisfaction.

It should be noted that the content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber.

The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Anything you have purchased (even if you purchased it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.

Also, different countries have different rights, release schedules and, have different things available in their PlayStation Store for this reason.
