England secured a six wicket win in the second ODI at at Mount Maunganui on Wednesday.
The series is level at 1-1 ahead of the clash at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Saturday (01:00 GMT).
Jonny Bairstow has been passed fit to play, despite twisting his ankle when he stood on his water bottle on Wednesday.
“It’s one of those things – a freak thing like Glenn McGrath standing on that ball,” he said. “I had just been signing a couple of kids’ autographs, I turned round and stood on the water bottle.
“It was my own water bottle which made it even more of a kick in the teeth. Life goes on – I’m fine for tomorrow.”
England are expected to name the same XI that started the second ODI.
New Zealand welcome back captain Kane Williamson, who missed the last game with a hamstring problem.
Mark Chapman should win his second cap but a quadriceps injury has ruled out Ross Taylor.
