Fortnite PC and Mac face logging in issue as Twitch Prime skins hunt continues

Epic Games have confirmed that new launcher issues are affecting players on certain platforms.

Fortnite PC and Mac users could have a bit of trouble logging in right now, although not much news has been provided on why.

“We’re aware PC and Mac users are having problems logging into the launcher,” a message from Epic Games reads.

“We’re looking into this now and will be sure to update you once we have more info.”

So far no updates have been provided on the subject, although this could change quite quickly.

The news comes as fans continue their hunt for the Fortnite Twitch Prime skins, which are currently up for grabs.

If you are a Twitch Prime subscriber who also plays Fortnite Battle Royale, you can download a new cosmetic pack.

The new bundle is proving very popular and include items for both in-game and on Twitch.

Fortnite players can grab two exclusive gliders and outfits for Battle Royale, with four additional Twitch chat emojis also included.

The exclusive Battle Royale Havoc Outfit & Back Bling has been paired with the Sub Commander Outfit & Slipstream Glider.

These new items can be found in the gallery above, and won’t be available forever.

Players on PS4, Xbox One and PC will need to have claimed the new loot from Twitch Prime by May 2, after which they will be removed.

For those who have an existing Amazon Prime membership, a Twitch Prime comes free with it.

It just needs to be activated in the Prime settings, and linked to the right Amazon account.

It’s also very important to link your Twitch account to your Epic account to complete the redemption process.

Players then need to claim the offer on Twitch by clicking on the crown icon after linking their Twitch and Epic accounts.

This can be done on the official Epic Games website.

Twitch Prime is included with Amazon Prime in the US, Mexico, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Japan, Singapore, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Twitch Prime is included with Prime Video in over 200 other countries and territories.

Fortnite isn’t the only game where fans can get exclusive loot via Twitch Prime.

Last August, Blizzard revealed that Overwatch fans would get extra loot boxes if they were Twitch Prime members.

While Call of Duty WW2 players can also get extra supply drops if they’re a Twitch Prime Member.
