Avengers: New Bucky set photo PROVES he WON’T become next Captain America?

Whether or not Chris Evans survives to the end of Avengers 4, it is unlikley he will ever play Captain America again.

Fans already know that he has become Nomad, after laying down the star-spangled shield at the end of Civil war. His dark beard and costume already signify that Evans has transformed into the later alter-ego of Steve Rogers.

So who will become the next Captain America? Bucky is one of the incarnations in the comic books, but the ending of Black Panther seems to be indicating that Sebastain Stan is gearing u to play a lesser known hero from Wakanda.

Stan also just posted a cheeky on set photograph which heavily hints at the White Wolf storyline.

The actor posted an image which ties in with one of the Black Panther end credits scenes.

Bucky was last seen in a medical facility in Wakanda at the end of Civil War. The new Infinity War trailers show he has recuperated and is back alongside his old pal Steve and they are both part of a huge battle in Wakanda.

However, the new end credits scene shows what happens just before that with Bucky waking up in Wakanda, still without his arm. T’Challa’s science whizzkid sister Shuri has been overseeing his recovery and will presumably fit the impressive new vibranium arm he is sporting in the trailers.

The short scene is most important because some of the Wakandans are calling Bucky by a very famous name.

When Bucky emerges from the tent, the Wakandans around him call him White Wolf. Marvel hero White Wolf is one of Black Panther’s greatest allies in the comic books and his adopted brother. He wears a matching vibranium suit when they fight side by side.

Although the origin stories are different, the MCU frequent absorbs major plotlines from the source comics. Will Bucky become White Wolf in the upcoming next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

The charater is much more suited to Bucky’s dark jouney so far, rather than the restrictive conformist burden of being Captain America, which even the straight-laced Rogers found intolerable in the end.
