Neymar: PSG star contacted by Man Utd amid Real Madrid interest as Lionel Messi learns all

Real Madrid and Manchester United have both been tipped to lure Neymar away from PSG after just a solitary season in France.

The 26-year-old signed for PSG from Barcelona in August, turning his back on the Catalan giants to pursue a new challenge in Ligue 1.

However, various reports have claimed that, while Neymar is impressed with the Parisian nightlife, the Brazil star is at odds with other aspects of life in the capital.

Real are frontrunners in the battle to secure his signature with club president Florentino Perez determined to sign the PSG forward.

But Spanish website Don Balon say Neymar has sensationally told Messi he could join United.

He has supposedly opened up to his old Barcelona team-mate and informed him of their plan to entice him to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils’ shirt sponsors, Chevrolet, are supposedly keen to expand and secure profits from the Asian market.

And they reportedly consider Neymar to be a Galactic name and one that would ensure their new plan gets off to a successful start.

Jose Mourinho has also sanctioned Neymar’s arrival despite landing Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku in the past two transfer windows.

Don Balon add Mourinho has tried to sign the player before.

And that was reportedly during his own time as Real manager, with the 54-year-old ruling the roost between the years of 2010 and 2013.

Speaking back in August, Mourinho praised Neymar ahead of his £200million move to PSG, saying he was worth the money.

“When we paid that amount for Paul I told that he was not expensive,” Mourinho said. “Expensive are the ones that get into a certain level without a certain quality.

“I think with Neymar it’s going to happen the same, I don’t think he’s expensive for 200million, I don’t think he’s expensive, I think he’s expensive the fact that now you are going to have more players of 100 million and you are going to have more players at 80 million and you are going to have more players at 60 million.

“And I think that’s the problem because Neymar is one of the best players in the world, commercially he’s very strong and, for sure, Paris Saint-Germain thought about it, so I don’t think the problem is Neymar, I think the problem is the consequences.”
