While Star Wars The Last Jedi was loved by the critics, it split the fans – with some calling it the worst movie in the franchise.
As controversial as his entry into the canon may be, Johnson has spoken out on what he thinks of the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Comicbook spoke with the director at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards, where they asked what he thought of the Super Bowl trailer.
By the sounds of it, Johnson has seen much more than just the teaser – who knows, maybe he’s seen a rough cut of the entire movie?
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, he said: “I think it’s just a lot more fun.
“All the Star Wars [movies] are really fun, but I think this movie, we know what’s going to happen, we know they’re not going to die, ya know?”
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released in UK cinemas on May 25, 2018.
