Duisburg goalkeeper reveals BIZARRE reason he was drinking when opponent scored – video

Shot-stopper Flekken had a shocker during Duisburg’s clash with Ingolstadt after he conceded a goal while taking a drink.

Flekken was seen rooted to the spot when Ingolstadt forward Stefan Kutschke poked the ball into the back of the net.

And Flekken has now revealed exactly how his hilarious blunder actually came to light.

Duisburg had scored and music started to play around the stadium and Flekken was seen strolling back to his goal line to grab a drink thinking he had time to compose himself after his side had scored.

However, said goal was ruled out by the referee.

Ingolstadt consequently took a quick free-kick and booted the ball up the field with Flekken completely oblivious play had continued.

By this point Kutschke had swept past Duisburg’s defenders and slotted the ball home.

Speaking of his hilarious error, Flekken said: “In the next games, I won’t put my bottle in the goal.”
