Chelsea news: Jermaine Jenas left SHOCKED by one major decision from Antonio Conte

Chelsea dropped outside of the top four after suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United yesterday.

Conte’s side now sit six points behind Jose Mourinho’s side in second place with 10 games remaining and two behind Spurs.

The Italian coach opted to go with Willian and Eden Hazard on the wings with Alvaro Morata leading the line.

Willian has only started 14 league games this season despite being directly involved with 19 goals in all competitions.

And when Match of the Day 2 presenter Mark Chapman asked whether Willian’s lack of game-time this season should be a concern, Jenas said: “It shocks me, I have to say.

“As a player, I think he’d get into any team in the Premier League.

“I’m talking Manchester City, Chelsea obviously, Spurs, you name it. I think he’s that good, I really do.

“You can call it a criticism of Conte, he sees things day in day out on the training pitch.

“So there might be certain things that we’re not seeing.

“But I have to say, the last few months, he’s been sensational.”
