BREAKING: Police hunt gunman after two injured in shooting near Dunkirk Station

Paramedics rushed the victims, said to be two men in their twenties, to hospital.

The shooting took place shortly after 5pm this afternoon near the city’s central station.

Witnesses identified one suspect, and told Le Phare Dunkerquois the attack happened after an argument about a “traffic dispute”.

Police forensic teams have sealed off the area as police hunt for the perpetrator, causing widespread disruption for motorists.
