Pasha: The reason Tottenham won’t win anything is because of Poch’s blind trust in Aurier. He’s the worst right back we ever had. Not one ball in the box, and can’t execute a proper throw in.

Andy: Blatantly obvious that we are desperate for pace in this team, Son and Moura need to come on in the second half otherwise we will drop more points that we can’t afford to, top 4 is there but we are throwing it away again.

18: Good response from Palace. Van Aanholt has Aurier on toast before whipping in a cross and Lloris claims it before it can reach Benteke.

15: A flighted free-kick is met in the box by Tomkins but Lloris saves comfortably. You sense set-pieces will be the hosts best chance of scoring today.

12: Almost a catastrophic error from Van Aanholt! The full-back goes for a clearance but ends up passing it to Kane six-yards out. Everyone’s expecting the net to ripple but somehow Hennessey saves from point-blank range.

9: Close! Eriksen drifts a free-kick over to the overlapping Davies, who’s denied by a combination of Tomkins and Hennessey. Really clever set-piece, but what else would you expect from the Dane.

We’re starting our jam-packed day at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace entertain Tottenham.

Spurs struggled in the last three months of 2017, when they slipped out of the Premier League’s top four and were knocked out of the League Cup, but have since regained momentum and are unbeaten in their last 14 games across all competitions.

Feels like a Harry Kane kinda day to me… Let’s have some team news and line-ups.

CRYSTAL PALACE vs TOTTENHAM

Palace are without 12 injured senior players, with Yohan Cabaye (groin) the most recent casualty. Julian Speroni, Joel Ward, Martin Kelly, Scott Dann, Mamadou Sakho, Jeffrey Schlupp, Jason Puncheon, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Wilfried Zaha, Bakary Sako and Connor Wickham are all again expected to be absent.

Tottenham are likely to leave Toby Alderweireld out of their squad as a precaution due to a hamstring problem. Lucas Moura’s fitness will also be monitored after he started his first game for the club against Rochdale last weekend.
