Winter Olympics 2018: What time are GB playing bronze medal match? How can I watch?

The ladies were aiming to build on their bronze medal they won at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics here in Pyeonchang.

But they came unstuck against Sweden, who didn’t crack under pressure, with Great Britain losing 10-5.

That meant a chance at gold or silver was no longer in reach for Eve Muirhead and her team but they can still repeat their achievement from four years ago.

They face a Japan side who lost in the other semi-final to hosts South Korea 8-7 after 11 ends.

What time will Great Britain face Japan in curling bronze medal match?

On a Saturday packed with sports action for UK viewers to get their teeth into, you can start your day by watching the women’s curling team in action at 11:05am.

Matches usually last for two hours as each end takes approximately 15 minutes to play.

Fans have two options to watch the game. The match will be available on both BBC and Eurosport.

Who is on Great Britain’s women’s curling team?

Muirhead is the team captain and has been the leader of Great Britain’s women curling team for three Olympic Games now.

She is joined by Anna Sloan, Vicki Adams, Lauren Gray and the team’s alternate Kelly Schafer.

Muirhead admitted their defeat to Sweden yesterday was tough to take but will do everything they can to ensure they return home with another bronze.

“We still have a medal to play for, so we’ll give it our all,”  Muirhead said.

“We gave it our all and the Swedish girls were on fire. I missed a couple of key draws and you can’t afford to do that.

“We’re absolutely gutted. I know it will take time to get over that loss.

“We have trained hard for the last three or four years, but we were outplayed.”
