Casting for Craig’s final James Bond movie remains a mystery, but the odds are closing in on one singer to star opposite him and sing the theme tune.
Last night saw English singer Dua Lipa go home with two 2018 BRIT awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Now Coral have the 22-year-old at 2-1 to sing Bond 25’s theme and at 16-1 to be the new Bond girl.
A spokesman for the bookmakers said: “It was a great night for Dua Lipa at the Brit Awards and it looks like her career is going to continue to get better as she is being backed to sing the theme song for the next James Bond movie.”
Léa Seydoux starred as Spectre’s Bond girl, Madeleine Swann, who was last seen driving off down Whitehall with 007 in his Aston Martin DB5. The actress could return for a cameo.
James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
