Call of Duty WW2 servers down: Fans unable to connect to PS4, Xbox One shooter

WW2 appears to be down, leaving hundreds of fans unable to connect to the game.

The Call of Duty WW2 server status doesn’t make good reading for fans, who are unable to access multiplayer.

Fans attempting to login are being greeted with error messages.

Independent website Down Detector has received a surge of Call of Duty offline reports, the majority of which revolve around server connection.

Fans have expressed their views on social media, complaining about the server

One fan writes: “Call of Duty WW2 servers down for anyone else right now with ‘interrupted’ error?”

Another post reads: “Call of Duty are the servers down? I keep getting an error. Saying it’s been interrupted.”

Activision is yet to respond to the complaints, so stay tuned for more information.

Xbox One and PC owners are currently awaiting the release of the Resistance DLC.

Out now on PS4, the upcoming DLC includes three Resistance themed maps, a brand new War Mode map and another Zombies adventure.

Valkyrie takes place in and around the bunker where resistance fighters unsuccessfully tried to assassinate Hitler.

Anthropoid, meanwhile, is set in Occupied Prague, and is said to feature a lot of height variation and narrow interiors. Occupation is a remake of a Modern Warfare 3 map.

Perhaps most exciting of all, Activision gave fans a look at the new War Mode adventure, titled Operation Intercept.

The first objective will revolve around the rescue of resistance fighters. Players must then capture radio equipment, before leading an attack on the Nazis.

As for Nazi Zombies, the new chapter, titled The Darkest Shore, is described as the most terrifying yet. The new map adds fog to the mix, which should result in a host of scary scenarios.

“The Darkest Shore follows our heroes into the next chapter of their dangerous journey,” reads a Sledgehammer post.

“Only days after the horrific disaster of Mittelburg, the crew has received intel that suggests Doktor Straub is on an island just north of Germany.
