Arthritis: Woman cured joint pain with £1.13 a day supplements – these are the ingredients

Arthritis is a common condition that affects people of all ages, according to the NHS.

Symptoms of arthritis include joint stiffness, tenderness, restricted movement, muscle wasting and warm, red skin over affected joints.

Some drugs and therapies may help to ease arthritis pain.

But, osteoarthritis patient Vanessa, 38, said she was “amazed” at the impact of a supplement containing boswellia and gingerol.

Vanessa was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both of her ankles and knees in 2016.

“The pain and stiffness can be really hard to take and it impacts the amount I can play with my little boy, who’s only five years old, and loves playing superhero games,” she said.

“Getting up off of the sofa and getting out of bed in the morning can be really tough as my body feels like it’s locked.

“I always joke with my son that I’m like the tin man from The Wizard of Oz.”

To ease her arthritis pain, Vanessa had an exercise plan and regularly took part in yoga and Pilates to help improve flexibility.

“I take exercise seriously because gaining weight becomes a vicious cycle – the more weight I carry the worse my symptoms get.”

Vanessa now takes FlexiQule supplements, which contain the natural ingredients boswellia and gingerol.

Boswellia helps to reduce pain, and prevent inflammation. Gingerol is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, according to FlexiQule.

Vanessa said: “In particular the swelling in my knees went down dramatically, and my mobility has improved.

“Getting up in the morning and keeping up with my energetic son is much easier now.

“These are the day-to-day things that have made a big difference to my life.”

There’s currently no cure for osteoarthritis, according to the NHS, but some treatments could help to relieve symptoms.

Supportive therapies may be able to relieve joint pain, it said.
