Black Panther character CONFIRMED to return to MCU – but in which movie?

It’s Martin Freeman, who plays Everett Ross in the record-breaking blockbuster.

Speaking in promotion of the movie, it seems that there are plans for him to make another on-screen appearance.

He made his debut in Captain America: Civil War in a small role, before popping up in Black Panther.

“They [Marvel] introduced me in Civil War and said there would be a couple of other films, one of which was Black Panther,” he told Den of Geek.

So where next for him?

It is of course entirely possible for him to appear in the Black Panther sequel, but there’s also of course the likes of Captain Marvel to think about. Could he appear there?

Will we even be surprised to see him join the hefty cast of Avengers: Infinity War when it releases in April? Time will tell.

Freeman has also revealed that he very nearly starred in another massive franchise: Star Wars.

Asked if he’d ever be interested in joining LucasFilm’s works, he told Joe.ie: “Of course I’d be.

“I had a chat with the folks a few years ago. But no, it’s not been a direct thing.

“There are other British actors that they prefer to me.”

Black Panther is out now.
