Alison Steadman: Hold The Sunset actress’ net worth

Alison Steadman, OBE, 71, is a British actress currently starring alongside John Cleese in Hold The Sunset, on BBC One.

Previous to making this show, Alison has acted in numerous roles on stage, television and film.

She is best known for her television role as Pam in BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, and her role in the television adaptation of Abigail’s Party.

In 1993, she won an Olivier Award for Best Actress for her role as Mari in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

Born in Liverpool on 26 August 1946, she was educated at Childwall Valley High School for Girls.

Alison later trained at the East 15 Acting School in Loughton, Essex in 1966.

There, she met future husband, writer and director of film and theatre Mike Leigh, 74, whom she married in 1973.

In 2001, Alison divorced Mike Leigh, who is said to be worth $12 million, according to Net Worth Post.

The pair have two sons together: Toby, born in 1978, and Leo, born in 1981.

Alison Steadman’s total net worth, earned through her various acting roles, is unknown.

Her and her partner, actor Michael Elwyn, live in Highgate in London, where the average property price is £915,892, according to Home.co.uk.

She is known, however, to be careful with her money, thanks to her frugal family values learnt from her mother.

“I once spent a fortune – and I mean like a week’s wages – on a tube of moisturiser, because I thought, I’m in my 60s and I’m going to treat myself,” she told the Guardian.

“I put it on and a couple of days later I got spots. In the bin it went. I thought of my mother. Now I use Nivea, which costs £3.99, and my skin is fine.”

Famous duo Torvill and Dean’s net worth was recently revealed on Express.co.uk.

They are the ice skating duo who are judges on Dancing on Ice 2018. But what is their net worth?
