Manchester United star Paul Pogba clashed with Henrikh Mkhitaryan before Arsenal transfer

Pogba is facing an uncertain future at Manchester United amid claims the France international is at odds with manager Jose Mourinho.

The 24-year-old has angered his manager in recent weeks and, with his form suffering, has been substituted in high-profile defeats away at Tottenham and Newcastle.

In addition to that, Mourinho also made the bold decision to drop him for Manchester United‘s 2-0 win over Huddersfield, instead placing his faith in youngster Scott McTominay.

But the Manchester Evening News say Pogba clashed with Mkhitaryan during the player’s time at Old Trafford.

Both men are represented by Mino Raiola.

Yet it appears the fact they share an agent failed to stop them from refusing to see eye to eye.

It is said Mkhitaryan thought Pogba was selfish after their 2-1 European Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid in August.

Pogba wasted a golden chance to level the scores but, instead of passing to Mkhitaryan, went for goal himself.

And the MEN say that annoyed the Armenia international and several of his closest confidants.

Pogba’s selfishness nearly cost United victory at Burnley last month.

The player again opted to shoot despite having Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku free either side of him.

However, his relationship with Mkhitaryan should improve now the Armenia international is no longer his team-mate.

The 29-year-old signed for Arsenal last month in a straight swap deal with Alexis Sanchez.
