It’s been 14 years since the The Incredibles hit cinema screens, long before Marvel and DC kicked off their shared universes or Despicable Me and the Minions came on the scene.
Now they’re finally back in a hotly anticipated follow-up, set straight after the events of the first movie.
The first full action-packed trailer was released as an Olympics sneak peek, following a teaser last year.

It reads: “Taking place immediately after the first film, the end of which introduces The Underminer (John Ratzenberger), the Parr family struggles to maintain normal lives while Helen Parr (Holly Hunter), also known as Elastigirl, is out fighting crime and campaigning for the return of supers.
“Meanwhile, Helen’s husband Bob Parr (Craig T. Nelson), also known as Mr. Incredible, remains at home watching their kids Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Huck Milner), and discovering Jack-Jack’s secret powers. “However, they, along with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson), and a new super Voyd (Sophia Bush) will have to battle a new villain with a sinister plot.”
The director, Unkrich said: “I’ve heard a lot of surprising stories of kids crying in Coco.
“At the end of the day, we don’t make movies for kids, we make them for everybody – for adults and ourselves. We just make sure they’re appropriate for kids.”
Incredibles 2 will be released in UK cinemas on July 13, 2018.
