In a video posted on Barcelona’s club Twitter page, Messi was seen performing some flicks and tricks before pulling off an outrageous bicycle kick after receiving the ball with his back to the goal.
The 30-year-old looked rampant with flair and trickery as he ran rings around Ernesto Valverde’s squad members.
And with Messi in fine form this season, scoring 27 goals in all competitions, Chelsea will have their work cut out when they come up against the Spanish giants.
Even Blues ace Alvaro Morata is wary of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“Messi can’t be stopped,” he told Movistar+.
“If we can get a good result here, we have to play a defensive game with spaces and try to bother them as much as possible.”
