The sister of the despot was also attacked on social media

Kim Yo Jong was the first member of the hermit kingdom’s ruling bloodline to cross the peninsula since the Korean War, which started in 1950, and she displayed an incredible change of behaviour when she was not meeting with high level officials in South Korea, according to expert Bae Sang-hoon.

They said: “Her neck is straight and her head is skewed to the right, automatically sending her gaze down. I think this comes from her thinking she is above everyone else.”

Kim has only known herself as royalty and displays a “frightening presence” because of her close relationship with leader Kim Jong-un, a former military officer in the hermit kingdom declared.

An Chan-il remarked: “Among the upper class in Pyongyang, she is a frightening presence.

“She has been thought of as royalty since she was born, and she sees herself that way as well.”

The sister of the despot was also attacked on social media for her involvement in the countless atrocities that have taken place in the rogue state.

Author Evan Siegfried stated that Kim Yo Jong “deserves scorn, not praise”.

He continued: “Kim Jong-Un’s sister Kim Yo Jong helps him, starve his people, keep 24million North Koreans living in extreme poverty, stop free speech, murder innocent men, women and children indiscriminately while placing people in concentration camps.

“Kim Yo Jong deserves scorn, not praise.”

Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah, the press secretary for US Vice President Mike Pence, reminded users on Twitter of the frightening actions performed in the hermit kingdom on Otto Warmbier that saw him “tortured and killed”.

She posted: “Speaking of stealing, Otto Warmbier was tortured and killed at the hands of the Kim regime after being accused of stealing a poster. Let’s not whitewash North Korea’s record.”

Mr Pence flew to South Korea prior to the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics and delivered a stark warning to Pyongyang, declaring the US would keep up its “maximum pressure campaign” against ruler Kim Jong-un.

He said: “The point is, no pressure comes off until they are actually doing something that the alliance believes represents a meaningful step toward denuclearisation.

“So the maximum pressure campaign is going to continue and intensify. But if you want to talk, we’ll talk.”

Not much is known about Kim Yo Jong due to the secrecy of the hermit kingdom

Other experts believe the presence of Kim Yo Jong has significantly upped the possibility of a cooling of tensions between the rogue regime and the rest of the world.

North Korean defector Kang Mi-jin declared that the sister of the despot “didn’t seem flustered” and “looked very relaxed” during her visit to South Korea.

Kim Man-heum, the head of the Korea Academy of Politics and Leadership, declared that the sister used “soft power” to leave an impression in the South.

They explained: “North Korea used ‘soft power’ this time to engage the South and her being a woman may have contributed more in that aspect.”

Due to the secrecy of the hermit kingdom, not much is known about Kim Yo Jong – even her age of 28 has never officially been confirmed.

She was reportedly tutored in Switzerland and was promoted by Kim Jong-un to the country’s top decision making organisation in October.
