James Bond: Tom Hardy is BACK in lead over James Norton to be next 007 – Is THIS why?

It appears to be a two horse race between Hardy and Norton, as as most likely to be the next James Bond.

Craig will shoot his fifth and final 007 outing this year, but speculation continues to be rife regarding which of these two – or the outsiders – stand the best chance of replacing him.

According to Betway, Hardy was at 3/1, but is now 9/4, while Norton has slipped from 5/2 to 2/1.

Having caught Bond fans’ attention in BBC’s McMafia, what could be the reason for the sudden change?

Last week Weisz said: “[Fleming] devoted an awful lot of time to writing this particular character, who is particularly male and relates in a particular way to women.

“Why not create your own story rather than jumping on to the shoulders and being compared to all those other male predecessors?

“Women are really fascinating and interesting and should get their own stories.”

25 will be released in UK cinemas in November 2019.
