Red Dead Redemption 2 SHOCK gameplay news, GTA 5 Nintendo Switch update

Fortnite and PUBG could face some fresh competition, as new Red Dead Redemption 2 details are revealed.

According to a new report on Trusted Reviews, Red Dead Redemption 2 Online could feature a Battle Royale mode.

If Red Dead Redemption 2 Online is half as popular as GTA Online, then PUBG and Fortnite could be in big trouble.

Other online game modes are said to include Revive and Survive and Money Grab.

Revive and Survive gives players a limited time to revive teammates, while Money Grab sees two teams fight over a bag of money in a central location.

The leak also sheds some light on the single-player mode, including the identity of the main characters.

This includes lead protagonist Arthur Morgan and gang leader Dutch Van Der Linde.

Players will be able to visit cities like Armadillo and Ridgewood, which will be accessible via trains.

The game will reportedly be playable in first person, while random missions in the style of GTA 5’s Strangers and Freaks will also be playable.

Fans can also expect fishing and crafting to make an appearance, as well as gambling, gold mining and much more.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been given an October 26 release date on PS4 and Xbox One.

New rumours have surfaced about GTA 5 possibly coming to Nintendo Switch.

Speaking at the Take-Two’s quarterly financial conference call, President Karl Slatoff said that the company was impressed by Switch console sales.

No further projects were announced for the console, although it was noted that the GTA 5 publisher would continue to monitor the situation surrounding the Switch.

With games like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption first appearing on PS3 and Xbox 360, it seems possible that the games could be ported to Switch.

Rockstar has already ported LA Noire to Switch, so anything is possible.
