North Korea military parade IN PICTURES – Photos show Kim’s power paraded in Pyongyang

The extraordinary photos show the devastating weaponry and tanks, with an estimated 12,000 goose-stepping troops and 110 pieces of artillery equipment parading through Kim Il-sung square, Pyongyang.

Around 50,000 people participated in the military parade, which featured four giant Hwasong-15 ICBMs, each with a range of more than 8,000 miles.

A band forming the Korean word for “Victory” also made an appearance in Kim Jong-un’s march.

Fireworks went off as the parade was watched closely by the North Korean dictator and his wife, Ri Sol-ju, along with the ceremonial head of state Kim Yong-nam who will head Pyongyang’s delegation to the Olympics.
